    R.F.W. Series 1-4

    28 x 52 in. each

acid patina, oxide, mica powder, bronze metal coating & oil paint on rusted steel plate, pallet wood

R.F.W. Series 4 (after Heironymous Bosch)

This piece draws direct inspiration from Hieronymus Bosch’s ”The Damned in Hell”, particularly in its compositional structure and symbolic visual language. While reinterpreting Bosch’s allegorical themes through contemporary materials and context, I aimed to reflect on cycles of destruction and renewal. The influence is acknowledged as an intentional homage to Bosch’s visionary approach to the moral and spiritual complexity of the human condition.
